St. Eriks Pale Ale

[A foreword: This and a handful of other reviews written this nice summer of 2014 from the beginning of June during various occasions are all published at once this fine sunday afternoon, so that will explain some of the summer-comments :)]

Summer opening! First real summerlike day with beer for me, outdoors and in the sun :) In Northern Finland we have had a long, dark and cold spring so this suddenly feels like very hot and summerlike, though it has just been a week or so, when trees started to look green after a loooong winter/spring. But, here we have our first beer for the summer opening: Nice Pale Ale from our neighbouring Sweden. This is a quality brewery that makes very nice all-aroud beers. Like this one. Fruity and citruslike scent greets me with just slightly misty yellow brown outlook. Taste is very nice, fruits, grapefruit mainly, bitter hoppy, but very very refreshing. This would be perfect with some grilled food. Very good, enjoyably bitter hoppy Pale Ale.

Can't say anything bad about this, as it maybe a bit light bodied for some, but in its category of mild Pale Ales (4,5% ABV) this is fucking great.

**** Great

Recommendation: For beer lovers a perfect summer beer!
