So, another Citra-hop-infused beer
for tonight. Quite all right actually. English beer. They say in the label that
they were the first commercial brewery in England to use Citra back in 2009.
Maybe baby. This is single hop Ale, light and clear. Scent has that flowery
citrus that you would expect from Citra and the taste is also very familiar,
but in an English Ale way. Buttery, nutty English Ale with a bitter Citra hoppy
backslash. Good, but not excellent. Still, I like this over traditional English
Ales in general, though there are of course examples of grandeur that might
excel this Citra-infused one, so this might just stand out as a successful nod
to American hoppy Ales. Nice Ale, any way.
