Oud Beersel Oude Geuze

Belgians make these odd but somehow beautiful beers. This has a beautiful bottle with real cork on top. I’m not a fan of white wine (or champagne either), but this has some feeling of those white grapes in it. Maybe also apple – which I don’t like either. And then, spices. But, after all, I like this. I don’t why, because it resembles tastes I don’t really endorse. But those Belgians know how to brew their weird shit, so actually I would like to drink this again – maybe with good company. *** OK

Hofbräu Schwarze Weisse

I know, I shouldn’t review these weisse's, wheat beers, that I don’t really like. There have been couple of Weizen Bocks that I have liked, but the wheats in general are just banana and bubblegum for me. This is no exception, though this has 47% oats  barley, not just wheat. Still, this is fucking lame. I’m sorry, weisse-people, this is just not my game. Not points for darker tone either - it just reminded me of those sweet and bad dark lagers...   ** Drinkable PS. Corrected the grain - its of course barley, thanks to commentary :) Still this is a useless piece of review. Drink good beer, read reviews with your own beer opinions in mind and like whatever beer you like dudes and dudettes!

Svaneke Skore Elg

First of all I have to admit, I’m a bit of a fan of Svaneke Bryghus. They make these classic beers, like this black lager, but they are always very tasty and have perfect quality. Black lager is not my favorite style of beer (and its German counterpart “Schwarz”), as is not light or dark lager either, but darker lagers in general are too often just sweet counterparts of their light coloured bros. So, I had no expectations at all. Very black beautiful lager pours in glass. Head is creamy and dark brown, very nice looking. Scent is also nice – it has chocolate and coffee, roasted malts rule. Taste has all the same elements. Very good, very nice aftertaste, easy drinkability. And think about it: This is lager, maybe the most underrated beer style nowadays (because of those fucking industrial piss bulks everywhere). This is how lager should be made. **** Great

Adler König Das Echte Hell

The Real Helvete. Or something :) German beer with super cool bottle and label. And then there’s this fucking huge BOOM when opened :D  Still, beer is just a light lager, but nice head it produces. Not very appealing scent and taste, well, is kinda bit sweet shit lager.  Real light lager from Germany, its birthplace. Can't say I like this a lot, so must say that for a beer (for my taste) this is only drinkable. ** Drinkable

Nokian Keisari Dark

Quality dark lager. Still the most despised beer style of mine, these days. This happens to be one of them. Easy drinkable, slightly burned taste, a bit sweet. Still, this has some great quality.   ** Drinkable *** OK for a dark lager
