Brakspear Triple

English three times hopped strong ale with 6,7% alc vol. Not so strong after all. Pours copper brown. Quite clear looking. Head is almost non existent. Maybe too cold, when I opened. A bit toffeelike nutty scent. Mouthfeel is nice, and sharp with carbondioxide. Taste opens slowly (maybe because of coldness) but aftertaste reveals a lot more of the good and harmonic taste of traditional British Ales. Reminds me a lot of Fuller's best ales, like Vintage Ale 2011. Still, have to say this is a lot better than Vintage Ale 2012 :) Not too sweet, which I like. A very good ale for many occasions, maybe even great, but have to drink another one of these some day and decide then.

*** OK
