Swedish beer for the German celebrations of
beer. This is not light coloured German, this is a bit darker, maybe
copper/amber brown beer with nice hoppy bitter feel. Scent is a bit
disappointing for me. Maybe my two week lasting flu has something to do with
that, but maybe also the comparison on Punk IPA that I had earlier tonight.
Scent is a bit English, I guess. Taste gives the same feeling: Fuller’s ales
have the same tastes as this. Malty, nutty, a bit sweet and toffeelike. But
this has nice hoppy back-kick too. I’m not a fan, but still this is quite pleasant
in its own genre – I say, this feels like an English Ale, Oktoberfest bier or
not.
