Porter night tonight. First one from the world
class Nøgne Ø. Still, this porter is not world class.
Pours black, head is dark brown and thich.
Scent gives a little, a porterish vibe of burned malts and sweetness.
Taste is quite raw in a way: I guess rye malts used don’t add to the equation
or something like that. Still, this is in no way a bad beer or porter, but
rather easy drinkable if you like burned malts and coffeelike porter. Can’t say
I loved this, but have to say I expected more of Norwegian brewing masters.
