Legendary!
Sweet banana, berries and juniper in wonderful scent. No head, which is typical
of sahti, traditional Finnish brew. Had to come to Helsinki to drink this :)
Taste is
full of flavors. Banana is strong, but also sweet maltiness. Can’t compare this
to any other particular beer. Unique malty taste. Only a bit like British Ales
somehow, but still different. Odd, but wonderful.
Sahti is
usually spiced with juniper. It is also made with baking yeast. It is a product
that needs cold; It is only sold in fridges, that’s why it isn’t available more
often. It is bottled often in plastic bottles, this one in 75cl.
Pure,
traditional, excentric, exceptional. Very nice brew.
