Wow, what a disappointment. If someone asks, what’s the greatest thing in Scotland, I will not say “Sean Connery”, “Ewan McGregor”, “Scotch Whisky” or "Celts", I will say BREWDOG, the Punk Brewery. But this is lame as fuck. Just citrus and grape, not fucking much else. Shite. ** Drinkable, still... PS. This was a second review I found of this poop. Why, or why?

Yellow/orange very foggy looking Belgish-styled Norwegian magic. Head emerges and stays like forever when magic is poured. Smell is a bit yeasty, flowery and sweet. Taste is bittersweet with a hint of smokiness and a sweet finish. Still, bitterness stays too and balances the big effect of this great beer. Real Nøgne Ø magic, again. **** Great PS. I heard disturbing rumours that new owners might be changing the brewery and its magic to some shit, but let's hope, that is not the case...

Well, this time a year. Yule, here we come [review made before]. Smell is sweet and taste very spicy, but actually quite nice. Hoppy bitterness comes with aftertaste, but this is definitely a spice-ale. With some food this would be splendid, I just don’t know, with what. On its own this is a bit too light-bodied, thin, even watery. More body, please! ***- OK for a Yule/spice-beer

Dark brew with nice thick head. Does not give much scent/smell, where’s the aroma? Taste, however, is great. Bitter hoppy and nice! Has also dark chocolate and maybe coffee too, but aftertaste is a bit too short too. Still, very nice taste and nice bitter feel. *** OK

Rye with traditional spice juniper that is used in traditional Finnish Sahti (or maybe juniper berries are not, which are used here, don't know?). Very nice, sweet but not too sweet, and nicely bitter, fullbodied beer with 6,3% ABV. Probably the best rye malted beer I’ve tasted this far. (<- I might have said that earlier :D) **** Great

Danish Svaneke is one of my favorite brewery’s. This however is not of their best brews. Good and bitter hoppy, but I think this lacks those usual APA-aspects of fresh and citrusy, piny and fruity feel. This is sweet and malty, not so refreshingly APA-like hoppy, in my opinion. Good, but not stylishly great. ***- OK
