Interlude: Farewell to Keisari 66

Well, it has been too long - eleven months - since I posted a new review but I have documented some for later publish (almost 90 reviews from this year).

However, now it's time to say farewell!

Some fucking firm made Finnish Laitilan Panimo to change their most successful beer, Keisari 66, its name. This world is mad. I'm waiting the day, that some asshole approaches me to say "I own Jimbo's Beerblog -name, so change your blog's name or you will be sued". Well, maybe that is not gonna happen, but you get my point - it's as fucking stupid as protecting some familiar names of - let's say "greece styled salty cheese", which has always been and will be "feta cheese". But now its time to say goodbye to one small Finnish session-beer that exloded the craft beer scene in Finland.

Keisari 66 has long since its first days of success suffered from quality problems, but its still tasty basic grocery sold session-APA with 4,2% ABV and nice hoppiness from tomahawk, tradition and cascade hops. Problems started when freshness changed to some rather musty vibes, but still Keisari 66 kept its place as one of the most noticeable Finnish craft beers.

It's fucking American Pale Ale, so the reference to "Route 66" was obvious. But yeah, some fucking assholes own 66, so...

Well, in the future its gonna be just Keisari APA, how fucking dull. I'm sad that in Laitila they weren't brave enough to name it Keisari 666 :D Laitilan Keisari 666 - The Satanic APA!

Here's my last Keisari 66, cheers!
